NEWS: BACK IN THE STUDIO...................................................................................................17 March 2012.....

The Cuban Boys are back in the studio working on some material set for release during 2012.

They have opened an archive of reels and punched cards and are currently casting affectionate glances at a large bank of dials before they undertake the task of powering-up the monster sound collider.

If your houselights start dimming and the television goes on the blink, then you can assume that the band have flicked a switch and are engaging in sound reconstruction.

The boys look like they mean business.

RELEASE NEWS: THE SATELLITE JUNKYARD (DECODED)...........................................................03 July 2011.....

History records that the Cuban Boys formed on this day in 1998 with little more than a notepad, a pencil, a cranky old pc and a 4-track tape recorder held together with string.

To celebrate the anniversary of their pop agitation and the third year since its original release, the band have uploaded their masterpiece 'The Satellite Junkyard' to BandCamp along with a newly formulated compendium album called 'The Satellite Junkyard (Decoded)'.

'The Satellite Junkyard' remains the band's preferred format, however...

'The Satellite Junkyard (Decoded)' provides a easy solution for those people who may wish to listen to the main tracks from 'The Satellite Junkyard' in isolation. Each track has been carefully re-mastestered for this purpose, stripping away the link content, so that each part is presented as a unique entity.

As an additional treat, the Decoded release includes some hidden content which has been extracted by experts from the original standard release - forming THREE new, full length tracks plus a beautifully crafted extended version of 'Claudine Is Blue'. These versions are exclusive to this release.

If you'd like to listen or buy a copy then head over to the BandCamp pages:
